Admission Process to study Biology in Norway

Eligibility Criteria

Students need to take the GRE and the IELTS/TOEFL exams to be eligible to study in Norway. For a Master's degree in Biology, applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field.

Proficiency Test

All international students must provide evidence of English language competency, such as the IELTS or TOEFL exam. If the university program requires applicants to take the GRE, then they also have to accept the GRE. 

Visa Process

Firstly, international students must register online with the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration. They need to provide a document containing their address in Norway, where they will reside. After receiving their acceptance letter, students can contact the Norwegian Embassy/Consulate for a permit to study in Norway.  Then, they also need to submit evidence that they will leave Norway once their studies are completed. Finally, they must also hand in the completed and signed UDI document checklist.
