University of Hamburg Intakes

The University of Hamburg primarily offers intakes in October for most undergraduate and graduate programs. Some graduate programs may also offer an intake in April. Due to the competitive admission process, especially for international students, early application is recommended.

On-campus accommodation is not available by the university. However, students can avail other living options to study abroad. The options are:

Student residences

These are the cheap living options for international candidates who are willing to pursue higher studies in Germany. It is in association with the Students Association of Hamburg and has a partnership with the university. The facilities by the same are:

  • 24 residences can accommodate 4200 students

  • Rent starts from 230 EUR monthly

  • The setup includes a communal kitchen, furnish bedroom, and living room with a bathroom-sharing option for 10 to 15 people on one floor

Candidate has to apply for the accommodation 3 months prior to taking the admission.

Flatshares

It is the other option for sharing with occupants. The cost starts from 400 EUR monthly and can increase as per demand.
