The RWTH Aachen University, known to many by its original German name, Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen, is a public research university based in Aachen, Germany. No student dorm is owned or managed by the institution. While the university has three guesthouses, international students cannot turn to them for long-term accommodation.
