Monash University was set up as a public research university in Melbourne, Australia, in 1958. Four of the five campuses the university has are in different parts of Australia: Caulfield, Clayton, Parkville, and Peninsula. The fifth campus is based in Malaysia. Monash University Admissions

  • International students who wish to apply for any of the courses offered by Monash University can do so by visiting the official portal of the university, downloading the application form from it, and filling it out.
  • The application fee for both PG and UG courses is 100 AUD or 5,480 INR.
  • Apart from a Statement of Purpose for Australia and a letter of recommendation, an international student might also be required to submit citizenship evidence. Sharing an updated CV is also required.

Monash University Eligibility Criteria

Whether an international student is applying for a PG course or a UG program, they must appear for one of the English proficiency tests and score well. If an international student has applied for an IELTS test, they must score a minimum of 6.5. In a TOEFL iBT test, a student is expected to score at least 79.

If an international student is planning to apply for a PG course, they need a bachelor’s degree. For pursuing a UG course, a high school certificate would be required.

  • As far as residential units are concerned, the Peninsula Residential Village is also a good option. To stay here, international students must pay an average rent of 300 AUD (16,039 INR) weekly.

Off-Campus Accommodation
