The Karolinska Institute is a public institution that was established in 1810 to train army surgeons. It is situated in Sweden, with the Solna campus located outside Stockholm.   • Indian students must secure 500 in TOEFL PBT, 6 in IELTS, and 51 in PTE.

Karolinska Institute Scholarships

Usually, ten scholarships are awarded per year. This scholarship only covers the tuition fee. Therefore, students should meet their living expenses and other costs with other funding sources.   

The KI-DIS fellowship is another scholarship aimed to fund the education of international students. It only covers the tuition fees for two semesters. The other course-specific expenses should be the candidate's responsibility.  

Besides the KI scholarships, Indian students can apply for the Swedish Institute Scholarship. It covers tuition fees and living expenses worth 80,000 INR monthly. This scholarship is open to all international students starting their Master's program from Swedish institutes.
